If you’re looking at Gutter Protection sites, you probably already know the devastating and costly damage that can be caused from overflowing gutters.  Clogged gutters overflow, causing rotten fascia, roof leafs, mold, wet basements and damage to landscaping.  When the clogged gutters freeze, they become very heavy often pulling gutters off the house.  Ice dams cause dangerous ice cycles, and the ice can creeps up under the shingles and between the gutters and fascia.  This causes roof leaks, mold and rot.   In addition the water near your foundation freezes, pushing the walls in, which creates cracks and leaks.  Gutter Flow System is your affordable solution.

The advanced technology behind our patented revolutionary interlocking system, creates and maintains an open airway within your gutter.  This is very important.  Each sturdy 4’ aluminum piece is interlocked with the next to create this clog free pathway.  Each piece has plenty rectangular air inlets and vertical water tines along the sides, to maximize air within the channel.  This allows the water to move freely through the gutter and downspout without choking off.  Even with plenty of debris on top, our innovative system generates a gravitational pull of the water through the debris and into the open air pathway.   So even with stuff in the gutter…. IT’LL STILL WORK!

Great question!  We’ve all been “conditioned to believe” that the gutters won’t work if there’s anything in them.   And with other gutter protection products, that’s true.  However, our pioneering and revolutionary Gutter Flow System has proven that theory to be wrong.  With Gutter Flow System ITS OK TO HAVE STUFF IN THE GUTTER because the gravitational pull forces the water through such debris and is directed through the open clog free channel to the protected downspout.

If you choose to leave debris on top of Gutter Flow System for multiple seasons, a couple things will happen.   1)  it dry up and be blown off with the wind.  Or 2) the debris will start to decompose into micro particles and wash through the system.   

Yes!  Gutter Flow System combats ice buildup and the damage it causes.  Because warm air rises, and the air temperature within the open channel is warmer than the outside air, this rising air quickly melts a line on each side of the gutter.   As the ice and snow melts off your roof… it has a place to go with Gutter Flow.   If there is no open airway, then the ice melts and refreezes, causing a buildup of ice and ice damming which can be devastating to your home. 

NO. It’s super simple.  Start with clean gutters.  Then put the first 4’ piece into the gutter, interlock the next, slide it in, and repeat.  It’s very DIY friendly.  But if you’re not comfortable on ladders, we have our preferred contractors who can do it for you.   See our installation page for further information.

Let’s be honest.  Nothing is truly maintenance free forever, but Gutter Flow System is very close.   We encourage you to check your gutters for the first year or two until you know how the environmental conditions will affect your gutters.   Typically, in most conditions, the black aluminum dries up the debris on top of the system and the wind blows it out.  In these conditions, you may choose to clean out your gutters every 5-10 years.   In heavier conditions where you have an abundance of large trees, little to no sun exposure, or inside corners that are protected from the wind; you may want to blow the debris off the top every 1-3 years. Gutter Flow System gives you a lot of flexibility and options with how often and how thorough YOU CHOOSE to clean them. 

No.  You can blow the debris out with a leaf blower or garden hose.  Occasionally, you may choose to lift one piece and hose out any micro debris through the channel toward the downspout.  This can typically be done in less than a half hour.

Yes.  There are no tiny screen holes for pine needles to get stuck in or clog up.  Notice in our video “Same Day.  Same Rain.  Same House.”  We have three very large pine trees.  The back gutter has Gutter Flow System (under 3 years of debris) and it works great!  Even with Pine needles.

No.  Unlike many other gutter protection products, Gutter Flow System does not alter or interrupt the integrity of your home, roof system or gutters.   Gutter Flow System fits securely in the bottom of your gutter.  There is no need to disrupt your roofing system or gutters.
